Log piles
Log piles of dead oak will be constructed to promote the stag beetle and other insect’s dependent on wood. Oak- and birch beams from nature conservation cuts will be partially dug down in sunlit places. When finished, there will be 185 stag beetle habitat piles of dead oak in 27 project areas.
